Multispecies Reflection, Political Ecology – Research & Dialogue

Wildes Wir is not only a sanctuary — it is also a living, breathing inquiry. How can we live well together, across species lines? What do goats, horses, chickens, and trees teach us about care, freedom, vulnerability, and coexistence? What forms of knowledge emerge when we watch, listen and encounter?

We welcome researchers, students, and interdisciplinary thinkers to explore the ethical, ecological, and social dimensions of multispecies life. At Wildes Wir, theory meets practice: in walking beside animals instead of riding them, in observing soil not as resource but as relation, in shared moments of breath and reflection.

We host academic workcamps, workshops and colloquia that weave together lived experience, critical thought, and activism.

If you’re interested in bringing a group, developing a project, or co-creating knowledge with us, we’d love to hear from you.

Buhu is an open mailing list where thinkers, dreamers, and doers come together around the big (and small) questions of political ecology. From multispecies relations to climate futures, from philosophy to art to activism — it’s a space to share, connect, and spark new ideas. Curious? Come have a look, and feel free to join in.
