Sponsor a Soul,

Support the Herd

At Wildes Wir, every animal has a name, a story, and a reason they’re here. Some arrived with scars, some with stories too long for words — all of them are now part of our growing family. By becoming a sponsor, you help us feed, care for, and protect the lives we’ve committed to.

But more than that: You become part of this web of life — this Wir.

What Your Sponsorship Supports

Sponsoring an animal here is more than just helping cover daily costs — it’s an investment in a life of dignity, care, and respect. Your support is the heartbeat that keeps our sanctuary running, enabling us to provide safe shelter, medical attention, and meaningful enrichment every single day.

Because many of our animals arrive with special needs or simply need a peaceful home in their golden years, consistent sponsorship helps us plan ahead and respond to their unique needs without compromise. It allows us to devote the time, attention, and love that each individual deserves — no shortcuts, no compromises.

  • Daily food, fresh bedding, medical care

  • Safe, species-appropriate shelter and freedom to roam

  • Enrichment and love, not as extras — but as essentials

  • Time, touch, and trust — offered gently and without conditions

When you become a sponsor, you become part of a living story — a story of healing, connection, and hope. Your commitment helps create a sanctuary where animals aren’t just surviving, but truly thriving.

What Our Supporters Say

"Be the change you want to see in this world." With experience and heartfelt dedication, Ann-Marie and Michel are doing exactly that through their life project, “Wildes Wir” in Waddeweitz. By supporting them, I feel like part of a real-life utopia — one that makes the world, in its small way, a much better place.

– Johanna Steffen | Systemic Counselor & Wilderness Educator

There already is this space of connection — between humans and animals, and the deep knowledge that we’re all woven together. You’re not starting something new, you’re simply moving, going deeper, and inviting others to join your loving mission.

I was enchanted during our walk — by the blind chicken Sperberine, gently guided to her food by her feathered friend Kakuro… by the goat who ran so joyfully… and by Naali. To witness such creatures living in peace together made me feel peaceful too — connected in the truest sense. It was healing. It was beautiful.

Since then, I’ve returned to eating vegan, rediscovering joy in the “boring” foods I thought I’d lost. These encounters opened something in me. I want to feel aligned with this project — one that glows with quiet hope — and I’m already looking forward to the next time we meet.
